1. When did you join Just Fitness?
I joined Just Fitness about 1 year ago.
2. Why did you join Just Fitness?
I joined Just Fitness, because for many years, I was going to the gym alone with no workout plan, and not seeing a lot of results. I knew at Just Fitness I would be entering a fun, welcoming group environment, and with consistent dedication, I would see results and have fun doing it, something I had not seen in the normal gym setting for many years.
Once I joined, I realized that the staff creates a plan to follow, and once I started, I saw results immediately. Its a great mix of weight lifting, muscle endurance and cardio, all of which are perfect for my job. Each day is a new fun workout that I do not have to think about or create, I just have to do it.
3. What programs have you done at Just Fitness?
I have been in the Warrior Built Program for my entire time at JF.
4. What results have you seen because of joining Just Fitness?
Since joining JF I've gotten in the best shape I have ever been in my entire life. I am healthier and lighter than ever, but at the same time I am the strongest I have ever been, noticing major improvements in all my lifts. My cardio and muscle endurance have both increased and I have more energy during the day outside of JF, which has lead to a more productive work life and personnel life.
5. What have you gotten out of being a member at Just Fitness that you weren’t expecting?
Outside of the obvious health benefits of going to JF, I have made many many friends and have become a member of the JF family. With the full group engaged workouts you are able to meet so many different people of different fitness levels, and get to know them on a personnel level. It creates a very inviting atmosphere when going to JF and it makes every workout that much more enjoyable and fun. Not to mention the unwritten secret of the competition between friends during the daily workout that you will eventually create.
6. What were your 2016 goals and did you meet them?
My 2016 goals at JF were simple; Stay as dedicated to the programming and workouts as possible, and become as fit and strong as I can, always projecting forward with my fitness progress. Looking back from the beginning of 2016 to the end, I believe I did meet and exceed my 2016 goals, as I am always increasing my 1RM on different lifts and lowering my board workout times.
7. What are your 2017 goals?
2017 goals are to continue having fun at JF. Meeting new people and welcoming them into the JF family and continue to better myself physically and health wise.
8. What is your favourite workout?
Any workout that involves the "bar" especially with thrusters involved.
9. What is your favourite “treat” meal?
Pizza, Pizza and Pizza.
10. Do you have a motivational message for others?
Progress takes a lot of time, and change won't happen in a day/week/month. At JF there is no better place to start your progress! With all of the support and friends around, you to keep you going.
