When Scott decided to lose the weight that he had gained sitting behind a desk, it sparked a new passion for health and fitness for him. Fast forward 9 years and Scott has turned that passion into a career that he loves, where he gets to help people work at becoming healthier themselves. He lost over 100lbs and has kept it off for almost 10 years.

His main philosophy in weight loss and being healthy is that it's about a lifestyle and changing the small things that matters. It's not a "diet" or a fad, it's a way of living.

After being an athletic kid his whole childhood, Scott stopped playing sports during college due to knee surgery and proceeded to live the unhealthiest of unhealthy lifestyles.  At 20 years old with a new career behind a desk and his new lifestyle that involved a pack and a half of cigarettes a day, drinking 8-12 beer every night, and eating nothing but the worst kind of take-out food in mass quantities, he put on 120lbs and at his heaviest weighed 275lbs at 5'10".  He was the epitome of someone who was on the fast track to a short life.
